Team Info

Hello and Welcome to Goring Robins U9/U10 Girls Webpage!

Our team is comprised of 7-9 year old girls, some who have played football before and some who are completely new to the sport. Our aims are to help the girls develop their football skills, foster teamwork and team spirit and to have fun!

When?

Saturdays at 10am

Where?

Sheepcot Field in Goring

What does my child need to bring?

Football boots

Shinpads

Water and Healthy Snack

What does it entail?

The practice is split in two halves with a break for water and a snack in between. We run a series of drills - often disguised as fun games! - for the first 45 minutes and then play small matches 3 v 3 or 5 v 5 for the last 15 minutes. We have registered for the youth girls League in Berkshire, which hosts tournaments every 4-6 weeks in Tilehurst. So, the girls will have an opportunity to experience some friendly match play. We play in all weather - but will cancel due to really inclement conditions.

More information?

If you have a 7-9 year old girl who you think would enjoy getting out on a Saturday morning to meet some new friends and play a fun sport, please contact Maggie De Pree maggiedepree [at] gmail.com
